Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 11:30 amβ9 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Santa Barbara is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Santa Barbara is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Dined here for lunch and ordered two of their sandwiches: Rincon and Refugio Both were absolutely delicious in their own right. The fresh dough of the Rincon is the perfect complement for the meatballs, sauce and melty cheese. Chefs kiss π€πΎ Not to be outdone, the Refugio is made with house-made and freshly baked focaccia bread which has a nice spring to it, and is a delightful match for those Italian meats. I will definitely be back for more! I must also try their deep dish pieβ¦will update this when I do π

I was very excited to try deep dish pizza since I was missing Lou Malnatis. Found this place on yelp and decided to try it. Walked in to a party of 4 waiting in front of us. The workers were milling about by the register initially not really acknowledging anyone. Some of them went off to bring things to customers and walked by the waiting customers multiple times without saying anything. After waiting for a bit, a waiter finally came over to seat the first party. When he came back, I had to catch his attention for him to acknowledge us and seat us. Pizza was just ok for me. Got the La Cumbre deep dish but they should really rename it to La Chode-bre cuz it was definitely not deep enough. No where close to Lou Malnatis but that is definitely a high bar to set for them. Pizza was way too salty for my taste. Not worth the price. Service was nonexistent. The waiters and waitresses never stopped by to check in or refill water. After a slice and a half, my mouth was dry as the Sahara dessert with my cells desiccating from sodium overload I asked for the check and a box from one of the waitresses. Waited 10 minutes. Asked another waitress. She got me a box but said she did not know who

As a family from Chicago weβre always skeptical of βChicagoβ style pizza. This pizza was amazing. Possibly the best deep dish weβve ever had. Always happy to support local small business owners especially when the food is this good!

After a long road we stopped by to order a pizza. It was Thursday night. The waiter was super nice. But the kitchen... First, we ordered a salad with no onion, and it came with onion. Then we ordered baked potatoes and they said they are out of it after 20 min of waiting for it. Since we were in hurry we didnt order anything else instead. Then the pizza... we waited 1 hour and it still didnt come. We were in a rush already, So we asked for a refund for the pizza and left without eating it. Im not blaming the servers, they had no fault but you have to either tell the customers about the wait time or dont accept the customers after certain hours at all. Overall it was a horrible experience. Just ask the waiting time if you decide to go here.

Second time here and itβs been great both times. The staff are incredibly friendly and the food is delicious. They also have great vegan options, which is a huge plus!
